Forum Features


Post Drafts.  Members can now save unfinalized posts as drafts, to post or complete later.  So if you find yourself
  unable to complete a long and extensive post, you can simply save it where it is, and post it later.

Karma has been removed.  Due to abuse with karma, it has been removed.  It has been replaced in favor of SMFshop,
  which gives credits for posts / post size / moderation / interest.  With these credits you will be able to purchase
  a number of account changes and even a few surprises.  :)

Ajax Quick Reply.  For instantanious posting of replies, without having the page refresh.  This leads to a faster a
  more efficient form of replying.

SMF Secure Login.  Your log ins are now protected by an SSL certificate, protecting your information from being read
  by outside sources.
  
Topics Filter.  Filter topics by subject, starter, posts, views, and last post.

Auto Imbed Videos.  Video links from either Youtube or Google Video will AUTOMATICALLY imbed into your post, so that
  members can watch them without leaving the forums.

BBC [you].  Posting "[you]" anywhere in your post, will result in it displaying the display name of anyone viewing, 
  along with a link to their profile.
  
Hide Posts.  Posts can be hidden by those with permission to hide, and they can be hidden on several different options, 
  from hiding to certain member groups, or to certain post levels, and other variables.
  VIP, Devoted and Staff member only feature.
  
RSS Feed Poster.  Allows the option for administrators to post feeds from an RSS source, such as Google news, and have 
  updates regularly posted under any member chosen.  If you find a nice and informative feed, you can request it to be 
  added to the forums, and you will be made the poster.  The advantage to this obviously is increased post count.
  
Member List Position Filter.  No more scanning the entire members list looking for a certain person.  You can now sort
  the members list by numerous criterias.  
  
Referrals Mod.  Allows you to refer people to a special link, that automatically fills you in as referrer of that member
  on their registration.  That referral can then be viewed in your profile.  The more referrals you get, the nicer you
  will find me.  :D
  
Password protected boards.

Topics Log.  Logs all moderation and information about your threads.  Including information about viewers.  
  VIP and Staff member only feature.

Copy Topics.  Allows you to create a copy of a topic and place that copy in another section.
  VIP, Devoted and Staff member only feature.
  
Modify replies.  Members can modify any posts made in their own topics.
  VIP, Devoted and Staff member only feature.
  
Delete replies.  VIP members can delete any posts made in their own topics.
  VIP, Devotied and Staff member only feature.

BFEO Devoted members can delete shouts made in the shoutbox
  
Lock topics.  All members can lock their own topics.  

Move topics.  BFEO Veteran members and higher are allowed to move their own topics.

Color Tags.  Allowed to use [color] tags to change font color inside [code] tags to highlight specific lines for 
aiding posts made for intructional purposes.



Old Features

Notepads.  Notepads can be found in individual member profiles, and in the administrator section.  It's purpose is to 
  allow you to jot down notes.  You can post reminders to yourself in your profile, which can be useful for keeping 
  on track of different developments.  This notepad is private and only an administrator can view it.
  
Hide Tag.  Using "[hide]" will allow you to hide information in your post to be visible only to an administrator.

An artificial post bot that responds itelligently to posts.  Will be teachable.
